History of Shape The Shape of Enrichment was founded in 1991 as a partnership to further animal enrichment efforts worldwide. It became a non-profit corporation in 1996 to better enable it to accomplish this goal. The Shape of Enrichment was honored in 1995 to be selected as the official publication for the International Conference on Envrionmental Enrichment.
